Project Backpack was organized to distribute backpacks to children who have been removed from their homes in situations of domestic violence, neglect, abuse, or natural disaster. Project Backpack has been serving at-risk children in Metropolitan St. Louis since 1999 by providing area police departments, social service agencies, domestic violence shelters and Department of Family Services workers with backpacks filled with necessities and comfort items. These filled backpacks are delivered to children on-the-scene and at the moment they are needed. The backpacks make a huge difference for children who are removed from their homes, usually with nothing but the clothes on their backs.
We host an annual golf tournament, Happy Gilmore Day. In addition, we also host an annual trivia night and provide volunteer opportunities via our giving days. Contact us for more information!
Each year we select a local non-profit organization with whom we partner with to raise funds and participate in volunteer activities.
